How to add 3D, AR and virtual try-on to an ikas store
An ikas product page sells with photos. This guide shows how to add a 3D viewer, AR and virtual try-on to it through the ikas App Store: no theme code, a button that finds its own place on supported themes, and a cart that keeps what the shopper chose.

Before you start: which experience for which product
Pick the experience from the question your buyer asks before ordering:
- Will it fit in my room? Furniture, rugs and appliances: the 3D viewer with AR places the product at its real size.
- How does it look on me? Shoes, glasses and hats with the live camera, watches and jewelry from one photo: virtual try-on.
- What will my version cost? Products with options: the 3D configurator.
- Can I put my own design on it? Printed products: product customization.
Start with a handful of products: your best sellers and the ones returned most often.
Step 1: Install Custivo from the ikas App Store
Find Custivo in the ikas App Store and install it. Once your store is connected, the app appears inside your ikas admin, and the panel opens in the language your ikas admin uses.
Step 2: Prepare the model or the photo
The 3D viewer, AR and camera try-on need a 3D model, ideally a GLB file (why GLB). Photo try-on for watches, bracelets, rings and earrings needs only the product photo already on your page.
No model yet? Scan the product with the Custivo app on an iPhone, build one from photos or a video, or have our 3D team model it for a price quoted per product.
Step 3: Build the scene and publish it to the product
- Create a scene and upload the model or photo. Lighting, camera and try-on placement come preset.
- Adjust scale or position only if a product needs it.
- Publish the scene to the ikas product it belongs to.
Step 4: Let the button place itself
ikas publishes no fixed place on a product page for an app's button, so Custivo keeps a list of ikas themes it has checked one by one. On those themes the button places itself under add-to-cart, with no theme code.
If your theme is not on the list yet, you choose the position from the Custivo dashboard, still without touching theme code.
Step 5: Test the cart on a real phone
Open the product on an iPhone and an Android phone. AR opens in each system's own viewer and try-on runs in the browser, so the shopper installs nothing.
If you use the configurator, add a configured product to the cart and go as far as checkout: the selections should reach the ikas checkout with the product. The viewer, the try-on and the buttons speak Turkish from the first day.
Step 6: Watch the numbers
Every plan reports views, AR and try-on opens, and adds to cart per product. Compare each product with its own numbers from before the scene went live, and give it a few weeks.
The 3D viewer, AR and virtual try-on are in every plan. The configurator and customization are included from the Grow plan up. One Custivo subscription covers one store. Current prices are on the pricing page.
